Liverpool drop Premier League points for only the third time this season
After making an ideal outing at Anfield in front their own fans,
Liverpool could not win any of their home games in the English Premier League, as they draw 2-2 with Fulham.
Trailing at the end of a fractional hour, as a result of an early Andrew Robertson foul, the Reds had to dig twice to earn a point back.
Match Summary
Fulham went ahead 11 min into a strike courtesy Andreas Pereira’s volley, and the misery for Liverpool continued after Robertson was shown red in a professional foul.
Despite having one man fewer, the Reds equalised after a few minutes into the second half through Cody Gakpo’s header.
However, Fulham regained the lead in the 76th minute via Rodrigo Muniz goal. Diogo Jota’s late equalizer ensured the points were shared.
This is only the third time that Liverpool have lost Premier League points this season.
